From May 2009 to May 2010 I had the privilege of being the President of the Carlington Community Association (CCA). I am still a member of the board of directors of this association. However, I decided that I did not have the time to both run a campaign for municipal office as well as managing a community association, so I decided not to run for the position of president for the year 2010 to 2011.
